HouseCalls is an Eagle Public Library program that promotes the use of library materials and services to homebound patrons through free home delivery. HouseCalls is available to individuals who are unable to use the library because of age, infirmity, or disability and who live in private homes, retirement residences, and assisted living facilities within the Eagle Post Office service area. HouseCalls can also provide information on the Idaho Talking Book Library, which provides services to the blind and visually impaired residents of the state. A volunteer, assigned to the homebound patron, picks up library materials, makes the home delivery, and returns materials to the library on a regular schedule, usually every two weeks. For more information and to apply for the HouseCalls service, call Janice Campbell at 939-6814, ext. 3. |

 Community Room
Until further notice, the use of the Community Room by private,
non-profit organizations is temporarily suspended due to the limited
open hours of the Eagle Public Library. Use of the Community Room is
restricted to Library programming, minicipal functions, and activities
of the Friends of the Library and other partnership groups providing
broad-based public services (e.g. AARP and tax preparation counseling).
When open hours are restored, it is the Library Board's intention that
non-profit organizations will once again be able to schedule use of the
Community Room.
