| Library Volunteers |
|
The Library uses volunteers in most of its departments and they contribute over 1,300 volunteer hours per year. Volunteers do a variety of tasks: bookmending, delivering homebound materials, helping with children’s programs, book processing, and preparing materials for the local history files. Adults who are interested in this program should fill out a volunteer application at the circulation desk or call Jeanie Comerford at 939-6814, ext. 101. Teens who are interested should contact the Youth Services librarian, Diane Matejka-Lund at 939-6814 ext. 7. Any adult volunteers working with children or with senior citizens are required to have a background check prior to beginning work. The Friends of the Eagle Public Library also use volunteers. |
